ABET Master Trainer:

  • One of a few people having taught the total spectrum of educational possibilities:
    • Grades 3-9 primary school
    • NQF Levels 1-4 secondary school
    • NQF Levels 5-8 tertiary education
    • all literacy levels
    • training of mother tongue literacy presenters
    • training of ABET facilitators
  • Born Namibian. Pioneered adult education evening classes in Windhoek from mid 1960’s
  • Vice-Principal of largest German Private School outside Germany.
  • In 1979 awarded the title of “Oberstudienrat” (Master Teacher)
  • by German Government for having had best matric results country-wide for consecutive years.
  • Awarded Honorary Professorate in Applied Linguistics by RAU in 1988 for work done in disadvantaged communities.
  • Former Literacy Director of the Foundation for Empowerment through Afrikaans.
  • Managed – for 10 years – the largest successful Afrikaans literacy project in South Africa
  • Long time associate of Lead the Field
  • Recognised as one of the most effective exponents of Suggestopedic Accelerated Learning and Teaching in the Country.
